During those years I have worked with people dealing with many different life situations. This can include those struggling with deciding their course. Decisions about life whether it be related to academics and how those choices are influenced even by courses in elementary and middle school, to parents and teens struggling to redefine relationships as children become older adolescents and adults. Adult parenting is not an easy path to navigate.
My experience also includes working with individual who feel paralyzed by anxiety or depression. There are times people find themselves in situations that are the result of other people’s choices and are coping with trauma.
We are relational and sometimes figuring out how to improve those relationships can be a challenge. I work with those working to on parenting and establishing step families and resolving adoption issues. They are different and each bring their own challenges and mindsets.
Whether you are seeking to process the curves in life that have taken you off the path you had mapped out, are working on relationships that have brought challenges or you looking at ways to turn your dreams in to goals, seeking Christian counseling may be helpful to bring your situation into focus and help you get on the path that is right for you.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy to assist in understanding your goals and working to recognize how the challenges you have experienced affect you. Developing the skills needed to realize ways to choose a life path is needed to reaching your ambitions, whether they be ones involving resolving trauma, improving relationships or setting personal goals.
